Friends of Smithills Hall

Learn more about the history of the Hall

Activities at Smithills Hall are supported by a group of volunteers known as The Friends of Smithills Hall. Membership is open to anyone who would like to learn more about the Hall, its history and the families who lived there. Membership also provides the opportunity for you to be involved in activities which support the Hall (including stewarding at events, learning to be a volunteer guide, helping to raise funds to support the Hall).

Members can also attend social evenings, listen to interesting and informative talks, have free admission to the Hall in opening hours, receive a quarterly Newsletter or help the public to enjoy this historic and unique Hall as well as enjoying themselves.

Rates

• Junior members (no voting rights)* - £2.00
• Members - £10.00
• Retired or unemployed members - £7.50
• Life Members - £100.00
• Affiliated Member # - £20.00

 * those under 18 years of age on 30 April next year

All membership is renewed annually except Life membership.
