Bradshaw Bleachworks, 1983

Photograph, taken Oct-1983, exterior of Bradshaw Bleachworks (also known as Hardcastle Bleachworks), Bradshaw Lane, Bolton. View of smaller of 2 mill chimneys. Large hole can be seen about half way up. Built in 1794, purchased by James Hardcastle in 1836. Closed Apr-1963. Large parts vacant, other parts put to multiple industrial uses.
