Connecting With Collections
This is an exciting initiative that explores the potential of using museum and gallery collections learning tools for schools. Children and young people are introduced to a wide range of objects by curators and then given the opportunity to work with a number of creative professionals.
Artists, musicians, dancers, writers and drama practitioners use a range of approaches and learning styles to encourage the children to develop their thoughts and express their ideas, based on the exhibits they have seen.
School Loans
Bolton Museum and Archive Service has 12 loan box themes on offer to schools. All boxes will include resources and suggested activities which link to the National Curriculum.
