Bolton Libraries delivers library and information services through a network of ten libraries and the Library Link service. 

In addition to the Central Library in the Crescent, there are 9 Community Libraries and 5 Neighbourhood Collection Points, providing access to resources and information across the borough.

The Ask Bolton Libraries enquiry service is available to answer your questions wherever you are in Bolton.

Temporary Closure of Reserve Stock (Central Book Store)

Due to essential maintenance being carried out in the Reserve Stock (Central Book Store), items from the following collections will be unavailable from Monday 18th August until further notice:

•    Lending Reserve Stock
•    Reference Reserve Stock
•    Back issues of newspapers and magazines
