First World War and Second World War Heroes to be Honoured at Bolton Town Hall

Three war memorials in the collections of Bolton Museum and Archive Service have recently been put on display at Bolton Town Hall.

The memorials list the names of employees from Bolton Corporation Sewage Department, Bolton Co-operative Society, and local members of the Grand Order of the Sons of Temperance, who fought or were killed in the First and Second World Wars.

Invitation to families to attend official unveiling

The Mayor of Bolton will be hosting a planned unveiling and rededication ceremony on Thursday 5 November, and Bolton Museum and Archive Service is keen for relatives of those named on the memorials to attend.
