New Bolton History Centre now open
Bolton Archives and Local studies Service will soon be moving.
We have started building work; turning museum storage and staffing areas into a large, modern Bolton History Centre.
Opening in July this year is the all new Bolton History Centre. The Bolton Archives and Local Studies team will be transferring their services into the new resource centre located in Bolton Museum on Le Mans Crescent.
The Centre represents an ongoing commitment to improve customer service by integrating the Museum and Archives facilities.
The Centre includes:
- 12 new computers, all will offer free access to Ancestry.co.uk
- Improved access to Archives material
- Improved learning facilities
