The names of 175 men who served in the First and Second World Wars will take pride of place in Bolton Town Hall.
The names form part of three separate war memorials detailing employees from Bolton Corporation Sewage Department, Bolton Co-operative Society and members of the Bolton Grand Division of the Order of the Sons of Temperance.
The memorials have recently been part of the collections at Bolton Museum, Aquarium and Archive and have now been transferred to a more fitting location, near the Hall of Memories at the town hall, where other rolls of honour are situated.
A special unveiling and dedication ceremony will be performed by the Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Norman Critchley, on Thursday, November 5 and any relatives of the men named on the memorials are invited to attend from 2pm.
A full list of names can be found on the Bolton Museum website www.boltonmuseums.org.uk/news
The Bolton Corporation Sewage Department roll honours 12 sewage department employees, two of whom were killed in the course of duty during the First World War.
Originally displayed at a waste water treatment works in Ringley Fold, it was donated to Bolton Museum in 2004. It is thought to be the only surviving example of a council sewage department roll of honour in the country.
The Bolton Co-operative Society memorial was displayed at the Bolton branch office on Bridge Street.
The memorial names 37 Co-op members who were killed in the First World War and was later updated to honour nine members who were killed during the Second World War.
The Bolton Grand Division of the Order of the Sons of Temperance roll of honour was displayed at the organisation’s Bolton headquarters and honours 117 members who were killed in the First World War.
