Free, informal lunchtime talk by our Conservator Pierrette Squires about the work she has carried out to conserve two ornamental objects at Smithills Hall.

Free New Year winter warm up at the Bolton Steam Museum
See Bolton's industrial heritage lovingly restored and bought to life by the volunteers of the Northern Mill Engine Society. Seeing these incredible machines chugging away under steam power is an evocative and impressive sight and it is well worth the visit.
